A good mat is not too soft. Too soft a mat may lead
to injury of the knee as the foot sinks into the mat
and does not follow the pivot movement. Too hard
a mat will not absorb impact well enough. A Budo-
Nord mat is neither soft nor hard. It is fi rm.
Even small differences in size will create big problems
when all the mats are laid out. Budo-Nord

All mats are 4 cm thick, and come “anti-slip” cover
underneath. We stock mats in green and red, but
